Universal Pet turns photos of a real pet into a recognizable animated AI companion. You approve the look, then take the same pet into supported AI environments. Public access is not open yet; you can join the launch list now.

That is the heart of the product. Photos guide recognizable traits such as markings, ears, muzzle, and body shape. Results vary, which is why you approve the animated look before full animation. Trixie, our real Chug benchmark, shows the process in action.

Plan on 3–5 clear photos with a mix of face, full-body, and side views. Good lighting, minimal obstructions, and photos that show the same pet make a difference. Only use photos you own or have permission to use.

Dogs and cats are the initial product focus. Trixie, a dog, is our completed production benchmark. Cats and other species still need broader testing; we do not yet promise the same results for every species or breed.

Cats are part of our initial product plans. We are expanding testing beyond the completed Trixie dog benchmark before confirming public availability for cats. Choose Cat on the early-access form to register your interest.

Birds, rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, and ferrets are on the expansion roadmap. Tell us what kind of pet you have so we can understand which companions people want next.

Fish are on the roadmap too. Fins, feathers, and very small paws each need their own animation testing. Fish and reptiles are not validated production options yet.

Gemini Web and Codex have validated integrations. Grok Web, Gemini CLI, Claude Code, desktop, ChatGPT, Cursor, and GitHub Copilot are planned. Microsoft Copilot and Perplexity are under consideration. See Platforms for the full status.

The validated Gemini Web companion reacts to activity signals. It does not read or transmit the contents of your prompts and responses to Universal Pet. This statement is specific to that integration; the AI platform itself still processes what you send it.

We plan to add an original Internet Shiba companion. The final artwork has not been released. It will be an original mascot, not Doge, Kabosu, or a Dogecoin-branded pet.

That is what a Universal Pet is designed for. The same pet identity travels across supported integrations, with the available behaviors depending on the host platform. Planned integrations are not available yet.

You review the animated look before approving full animation. The product workflow supports requesting a new version at that stage. Final launch limits, pricing, and any remedy for unsuitable results will be explained before purchase.

Portability is a core design goal: your custom pet should remain yours to use rather than depend forever on a subscription. Final download, license, and commercial-use terms will be published before sales open. We are not making a promise of exclusive copyright in AI-generated artwork.

The business model is still being finalized. We intend to offer free default companions and optional paid customization or upgrades. No subscription is required to join the launch list.
