These terms apply to the Universal Pet / UniversalPet.ai marketing website, launch list, and contact service. By using these services, you agree to these terms to the extent permitted by applicable law. If you do not agree, please do not use them.
Universal Pet is developing a service that turns pet photos into animated companions for supported AI environments. Descriptions of the product explain validated capabilities and future plans. Public pet creation, paid plans, and a marketplace are not offered on this website.
2. Eligibility and launch access
You must be at least 18 to submit a launch signup or contact message. Provide accurate contact information that you are authorized to use. Joining the launch list is free, creates no purchase obligation, and does not guarantee an invitation, feature, launch date, or price.
Any future account service will have additional registration, security, and eligibility requirements before it becomes available.
3. Acceptable use
Use the site lawfully and respectfully. Do not attempt unauthorized access, disrupt the service, submit malware or spam, harvest others’ information, impersonate another person, evade protections, or infringe someone’s rights. Do not send unlawful, exploitative, hateful, harassing, sexually explicit, or otherwise abusive material through our forms.
Do not submit passwords, payment details, or private conversations. We may reject or remove abusive submissions and restrict access to protect the service and its users.
4. Submitted information and photo rights
You retain rights you already hold in information you submit. You give us permission to store and process form submissions as reasonably needed to respond, administer the launch list, and operate the service in accordance with the Privacy Policy. You represent that you are authorized to provide the information and that doing so does not violate law or third-party rights.
This marketing site does not accept pet photos. A future creation service will require that you own uploaded photos or have the necessary permission, including rights relating to any people or other protected content shown. Permission to process media to create a pet will be described at that time. Joining this list grants no license to pet photos you have not submitted.
5. Generated pets and likenesses
AI-generated results can vary and may not perfectly reproduce a pet’s appearance. Owner approval before full animation is part of the product design, not a guarantee of an exact likeness. AI output may be similar to output produced for others and may not qualify for exclusive copyright protection in every jurisdiction.
The product is designed around portable pet assets. Final rights to use, download, modify, distribute, or commercially exploit custom pets will be disclosed before a purchase or public generation service. No exclusive ownership or perpetual service-access promise is made by this marketing website.
6. Website intellectual property
Universal Pet branding, original website content, and approved mascot artwork are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. You may view and share links to this site for lawful personal purposes. You may not claim our artwork as your own or commercially redistribute it without permission or an applicable license.
Free companion availability and any license to use companion packages will be stated with the download. A planned free mascot is not automatically licensed for unrestricted commercial use.
7. Third-party platforms and independence
Universal Pet is independent and is not sponsored by or affiliated with OpenAI, Google, Anthropic, xAI, Microsoft, GitHub, or Cursor. Names including Codex, ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Grok, and Copilot describe compatibility or planned integration. Trademarks belong to their owners.
Third-party AI services, browsers, operating systems, and policies may change. An integration may become unavailable or behave differently. You must comply with each platform’s own terms. We do not control those platforms or promise uninterrupted compatibility.
8. Availability and changes
We may change, suspend, or discontinue website features, integrations, launch plans, or access as the product evolves. Maintenance, provider outages, technical problems, and security events can interrupt availability. Planned features are intentions rather than binding delivery commitments.
We may restrict or terminate access for abuse, violations of these terms, legal requirements, or security reasons. Any future paid service will describe cancellation, termination, and access consequences before purchase. You can stop using this site or ask to leave the launch list at any time.
9. Payments, refunds, and future marketplace
This website does not accept payments or offer a checkout. Pricing, taxes, subscriptions, cancellation, refunds, and any purchase conditions will be disclosed before sales open. Nothing here limits refund or consumer rights provided by applicable law.
Styles, accessories, animation packs, and a creator marketplace are possible future features. They would require additional terms covering transactions, creator rights, licensing, moderation, and disputes. No marketplace transaction is offered under these website terms.
10. Disclaimers and responsibility
To the extent allowed by applicable law, the website and its informational content are provided as available, without warranties that they will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for a particular purpose. Illustrations demonstrate the intended experience; results and platform behavior can vary.
To the extent permitted by law, Universal Pet is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of this free informational website. These terms do not exclude liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable mandatory consumer protections. No statement here limits rights that applicable law says you cannot waive.
11. Claims and disputes
You are responsible for unlawful or unauthorized use of the site and for information you submit. To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to indemnify Universal Pet against third-party claims and reasonable costs directly resulting from your unlawful submissions, infringement of third-party rights, or intentional misuse of the service. This does not cover claims caused by our own unlawful conduct or override mandatory consumer protections.

Applicable law determines jurisdiction and any non-waivable rights. Any future commercial terms will identify relevant business and dispute details before purchase.

We may revise these terms as the website and product change. The effective date identifies the current version. Material changes will be communicated as appropriate. Future paid or account-based services may require separate acceptance of additional terms.
